I am a Nanyang Assistant Professor in the College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). My research focuses on spatial intelligence, with the goal of enabling AI to perceive, understand, and interact with the physical world. Previously, I was a Research Scientist at Bytedance Seed, a postdoctoral researcher at MBZUAI and at the University of Oxford. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Adelaide in 2022, supervised by Prof. Ian Reid and Prof. Chunhua Shen, and my B.Eng. from Nankai University in 2016, supervised by Prof. Ming-Ming Cheng. I have published over 30 papers in top venues including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, TPAMI, and IJCV, with over 6,400 citations and an h-index of 21.

I lead the Spatial Intelligence Lab at NTU and am looking for self-motivated PhD students, Postdocs, RAs, and Visiting Students to join my group. Feel free to email me your CV.

Note: Due to the high volume of applications, a response is not guaranteed. Minimum requirements include at least one first-author paper in a top-tier conference, highly relevant to our lab vision.
